Results obtained with ADP support include:
Surveys inventoried and preserved
- All available nationally representative surveys inventoried, some documented and archived (work in progress).
- Capacity built within ROSSTAT to document and archive microdata. About 15 staff trained on microdata management standards, tools and practice; top management sensitized.
Russian Statistics Office visit to ADP/IHSN in OECD Headquarters (Paris, September 16-17, 2009)
Three representatives from the Central Russian Statistics Offices (ROSSTAT) visited the OECD offices to receive an introduction to the Toolkit and best practices in data archiving. The representatives met for two days to discuss the tools provided in the IHSN Microdata Management Toolkit.
The representatives were from the Household Budget Survey Division and the tools were well received. ROSSTAT representatives will return to Moscow and discuss the next steps to implement the tools. Special thanks to the ROSSTAT representatives for the chocolate they brought from Moscow.
