The ADP worked with Mekong Economics (MKE) Ltd., an economic consulting company in the Greater Mekong sub-region. Mekong Economics provided support in training agents from the National Statistical Offices in Vietnam and Hanoi. Having a presence in the Mekong sub-region is part needed as part of a way to better serve the needs of the NSO....

The Institut National de la Statistique (INS) undertook a consultative workshop to finalize the draft of their data dissemination policy. The workshop was sponsored by the ADP/PARIS21 and organized by the INS. The workshop took place in Agboville from the 23rd -25th of February. The workshop was facilitated by representatives from statistical offices in Cameroon, Mr. Martin Mba and Senegal, Mr. Mamadou Niang. A growing community of practice is being developed in the region....
The INS in Cameroon held a consultative workshop which reviewed a microdata dissemination policy in Yaoundé, Cameroon. The dates of the workshop were from Oct. 8-10, 2014. A general dissemination policy already exists and at the request of the INS the ADP provided assistance to discuss microdata access between users and producers. The ANSD (National Statistics Office) from Senegal provided the key facilitator to assist in the process and the views of users and producers were taken into account in the consultation of the policy.

Seven came from other ministries including: Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Science and Communication, Ministry of the Interior, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries.

The Bhutan online data catalog (http://www.nsb.gov.bt/nada4/index.php/home) contains seven studies, one of which is the Renewable Natural Resources of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forests (MoAF). The MoAF organized a metadata production workshop to document the different studies of the Ministry. In addition, other ministries that contribute to agriculture statistics were invited. Representatives from National Statistics Offices of eight countries attended the workshop, including: Botswana, Burundi, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Rwanda and South Africa. These countries are in different stages of developing their data dissemination policies. Among them Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda and South Africa have full-fledged policies for disseminating microdata. At the request of the Samoa Bureau of Statistics (SBS) the ADP undertook a Survey Metadata Production Workshop. Part of the 2011 Population and Housing Census activities included documenting the census to international standards. This proposed activity was implemented as a national workshop held at the TATTE Convention Center, Apia on April 28 - May 2 2014. This workshop is the first national workshop in the Pacific. Previous workshops were undertaken at the regional level and organized by the Secretariat of the Pacific Communities in 2010 and 2012.
