Regional Training Workshop on NADA 4.0 held in Tunis for Francophone and Lusophone African Countries (June 2013)

A Regional Training workshop was held in Tunis, Tunisia on June 13 – 15, 2013 in the context of the launching of the NADA 4.0 by the International Household Survey Network (IHSN). This workshop was jointly organized by PARIS21 with the World Bank and the African Development Bank.
The workshop aimed to expose participants to the latest version of the NADA application which was recently released, to upgrade their existing NADAs and implement relevant quality enhancements to their systems and to discuss strategic and technical issues relating to microdata dissemination in general.
Introduction to data achiving in Congo (November 2012)

An introductory workshop in data archiving was held in Congo Brazzaville. The African Development Bank led the training. The collaboration with the African Development Bank is a key focus in assuring that the ADP tools and standards are supported at the regional and national level. Saidi Slaheddine undertook the workshop. Mr. Slahedinne is the focal point for the implementing activities. The program of country support is being conducted by the Economic & Social Statistics Division of the African Development Bank managed by Mr. Beejaye Kokil.
The workshop in Congo trained 18 persons in the use of the Microdata Management Toolkit.
