Argentina: The ADP helps to extend the use of the DDI in the National Statistical System (July, 2014)

A DDI Production Workshop was organized in the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security was organized in Buenos Aires, Argentina on July 14th – 18th, 2014. Twelve participants attended. All were provided certificates of completion.

Carmen Ugarteche, Regional ADP Coordinator for Latin America, conducted the workshop. The five day-training course was divided into two parts, during the first part, an introduction to the Accelerate Data Program (ADP) tasks and the extension of its implementation on Latin America and the Caribbean. The second was a general introduction to all elements of the Microdata Management Toolkit including the use of the NADA.

The training session used the standardized modules and combined lectures and intensive hands-on documentation using the Nesstar Publisher. A NADA Catalog was also demonstrated during the workshop. Five surveys were documented during the workshop.
