PARIS21, in collaboration with UN Statistical Institute for Asia and the Pacific (UNSIAP), conducted a regional training course on the National Strategies for the Development of Statistics (NSDS) on December 9-12, 2014 at UNSIAP in Chiba, Japan. This training course was designed to introduce high level country representatives in the new NSDS Guidelines. The Accelerated Data Program conducted a Microdata Management Toolkit Workshop for the staff of Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS - Statistics Indonesia) and staff of the World Bank Office, Jakarta (WBOJ) from 23-27 July 2012 in Puncak, West Java. The training is the first step in a series of activities under the World Bank’s StatCap program where improved microdata dissemination is seen as one of the major initiatives for reforms in the development of statistics in Indonesia.
