- All available nationally representative surveys inventoried, some documented and archived (work in progress).

South Africa: Regional Workshop on Data Documentation and Dissemination (June 24-26, 2014)
The ADP held a regional workshop on data documentation and dissemination in the Southern Africa region from June 24-26. The DDP has engaged NSOs in all 15 countries of the Southern Africa Development Community in regional and national-level capacity development in microdata documentation and management. ADP is also supporting some of the countries in the development of dissemination policies, and facilitating country-level user/producer exchanges through microdata outreach workshops.Regional Training Workshop on NADA 4.0 held in Tunis for English Speaking African Countries (June 2013)
A Regional Training workshop was held in Tunis, Tunisia on June 10 – 12, 2013 in the context of the launching of the NADA 4.0 by the International Household Survey Network (IHSN). This workshop was jointly organized by PARIS21 with the World Bank and the African Development Bank.
ADP activities starting in Mauritius (Port Louis, 19-23 September 2011)
The Mauritius Central Statistics Office organized a one-week IHSN Microdata Management Toolkit training and DDI production workshop at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development on 19-23 September 2011 with 19 participants coming from six agencies, namely: Statistics Mauritius; Ministries of Education and Human Resources, Health, and Industry; Bank of Mauritius; and Financial Services Commission.
Nine surveys were documented in the workshop comprising of five censuses or complete enumeration surveys, four sample surveys, and one administrative-based data.
