Survey microdata made accessible
- National Survey catalog available on ONE website (see URL above).
- All available nationally representative surveys and censuses documented, archived and disseminated (work in progress).
- Capacity built and sustained within ONE to document, archive and disseminate microdata - as standard processes of every survey undertaken. About 20 staff trained on microdata management standards, tools and practice; top management sensitized.

Regional Training Workshop on NADA 4.0 held in Costa Rica for Latin American Countries (June 2013)
The National Statistical Office of Costa Rica (INEC), the PARIS21 Secretariat and the World Bank organized a regional training workshop on June 3 - 5, 2013 on the use of the IHSN National Data Archive application (NADA) with the following objectives (1) to expose participants to the latest version of the application, (2) to upgrade existing NADA and implement relevant quality enhancements to their systems and (3) to discuss strategic and technical issues relating to their microdata dissemination and data users servicing.
More agencies embarking on microdata documentation in Dominican Republic (December 2012)
An IHSN Microdata Management Toolkit Training Workshop was held on 3-7 December for the NSO of the Dominican Republic (ONE). Participants included 28 staff from from the NSO; Central Bank; INFOTEP (Technical and Professional National Teaching Institute); Ministries of Education; Health and the National Institute of Potable Water. ONE recently launched the National Strategy of Statistical Development where the adoption of the DDI is one objective. The staff of the Central Bank and the Ministries of Environment and Electricity showed great interest in implementing the tools in their own organizations.
ADP supporting the Central America Statistical Commission (CENTROESTAD) of the Central America Integration System (SICA)
SICA´s authorities requested support to document, preserve and disseminate 26 microdatasets related to Central America Food Security. The objective is to support the indicator´s harmonization process in the framework of the PRESISAN Sub regional Project.
CENTROESTAD considering DDI as a regional standard
The III Meeting of the Central-America Statistical Commission (CENTROESTAD) of the Central America Integration System (SICA) was held in San Salvador (El Salvador) on September 1-2, 2010 . The meeting was hosted by Mr. Glenn Avilez, Pro-Tempore President of CENTROESTAD and head of the National Statistical Office (NSO) of Belize. The meeting was attended by Directors and high level representatives from the national statistics offices of Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Panama and Belize.Dominican Republic ONE encouraging other Statistical Units to progress on microdata management (Santo Domingo, August 10–21, 2009)
Participants to the workshop included: 22 officials from the National Statistical Office (ONE) representing most of the micro-data production areas and six people from other statistical producers, including the Ministry of Education, Health, Finance and Planning. The ONE already has fully documented more than eight datasets.
