Survey microdata made accessible
- National Survey catalog available on INE website (see URL above).
- All available nationally representative surveys and censuses documented, archived and disseminated.
- Capacity built and sustained within INE to document, archive and disseminate microdata - as standard processes of every survey undertaken. About 10 staff trained on microdata management standards, tools and practice; top management sensitized.

Uruguay: Survey Metadata Production Workshop (September 2014)
A Survey Metadata Production Workshop was held at the National Statistics Institute of Uruguay (INE) from 15 to 19 September 2014. The workshop was facilitated by two ADP consultants Julio Ortegón and Federico Segui. 22 participants from various producing agencies attended. In total, 20 statistical operations were documented: 1 Economic Activity Census, 10 sample surveys and 6 administrative records. Several of the datasets documented during the workshop will be uploaded to INE’s NADA catalog (http://www.ine.gub.uy/anda/?page=catalog). The INE in Uruguay uses the collection facility for an extended NADA in the National Statistical System (NSS).Uruguay: Microdata Outreach Workshop (April 2014)
The National Institute of Statistics (INE) Uruguay, with the support of the Accelerated Data Program (ADP), hosted a workshop in Montevideo on April 9 - 10 to engage a wide range of microdata users from line ministries, research institutions and central banks. During the workshop, users were introduced to the range of survey and census data disseminated by INE and became aware of how to search and request access for data on NADA. The users were exposed to the wide range of microdata and were guided through the microdata access process. The workshop also facilitated exchanges between INE and data users, to know the user demands.
Regional Training Workshop on NADA 4.0 held in Costa Rica for Latin American Countries (June 2013)
The National Statistical Office of Costa Rica (INEC), the PARIS21 Secretariat and the World Bank organized a regional training workshop on June 3 - 5, 2013 on the use of the IHSN National Data Archive application (NADA) with the following objectives (1) to expose participants to the latest version of the application, (2) to upgrade existing NADA and implement relevant quality enhancements to their systems and (3) to discuss strategic and technical issues relating to their microdata dissemination and data users servicing.
Uruguay: INE innovates and proposes new services to survey data users (April 2013)
The Instituto Nacional Estatistica (INE) Uruguay keeps adding new services to its microdata users to its NADA on-line survey catalog.

Uruguay INE advancing on survey and census documentation (August 2012)
A Microdata Management Toolkit (MMT) was held for the NSO of Uruguay (INE) from July 30 to August 03, 2012. 20 statistical projects were documented as follow: 2 Population Census, 14 sample surveys and 4 administrative records. 28 participants from different statistical producers attended the Workshops. INE is in the process of updating its NADA site. Several datasets partially documented during the workshop will be uploaded.
