A DDI Expansion Workshop was undertaken in Panama City, Panama from the 2-5 December. The objective of the workshop was to introduce agencies in the National Statistical System (NSS) on the use of the IHSN tools for data documentation. The workshop was coordinated by the National Institute of Statistics of Panama (INEC). The workshop was attended by 18 participants from the NSS and from INEC. The five day-training course introduced participants to the IHSN tools and best practices in data documentation. As a result of the workshop, 22 statistical operations were documented....

The ILO regional partner Sistema de Información y Análisis Laboral de América Latina y el Caribe (SIALC) held a regional Microdata Management Training in Panamá on 3 – 7 February 2014.
